Souza Honored by Texas League Monday, August 31st , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Jorge Souza had few peers in the Texas League this past week. The talented third baseman for San Antonio tagged opposing pitchers for a .500 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 11 hits in 22 at-bats, 1 homers, 6 runs scored and 7 RBIs. Thus far this year, Souza is batting .333 with 5 home runs, 32 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
