King TEX Winner, Top Hurler in August Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 The Texas League announced the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award. It went to relief specialist Rusty King of San Antonio for his outstanding work on the mound. The San Antonio reliever had 8 saves, pitched 12.1 innings, struck out 14 and walked 2 on the way to a 2-0 mark and a 1.46 ERA. This year, King has made 37 relief appearances and saved 19. His record is 3-4 with 42 strikeouts in 34.1 innings and a 4.72 ERA. |
