Hit Streak for Barajas Reaches 20 Tuesday, June 30th , 2026 José Barajas of the Bakersfield Blaze tagged 2 hits in today's 11-10 loss to the Stockton Ports at Banner Island Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." José Barajas doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. For the season, Barajas is hitting at a .310 clip with 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and has scored 24 runs. He has 40 hits, 9 walks and a .364 on-base percentage. |
