Hitting Streak Still Alive for Columbus Monday, July 6th , 2026 Nobody has been able to shut down Rancho Cucamonga Quakes first baseman Eric Columbus in recent days. The Lancaster JetHawks fared no better than the rest. Today at The Hanger, Columbus picked up 1 hit in 5 at-bats en route to a win, 9-7. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. Eric Columbus struck out in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
