Hits Galore: Seals Drills 5 Hits Tuesday, July 7th , 2026 It was a sensational day at the plate for Sean Seals as he led the charge to a nifty 16-6 win over the Mavericks. The San Jose right fielder was pure misery for the High Desert pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Seals put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Vance Wilson, manager for the Mavericks, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Sean Seals singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Curt Beck in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 7th. This season, Seals is batting .328 with 60 hits, 7 home runs, 31 RBIs, 12 walks, .380 OBP and has scored 31 runs. He has played in 53 games. View Boxscore |
