Barajas Hit Streak Soars to 30 Games Sunday, July 12th , 2026 José Barajas has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Bakersfield center fielder picked up 3 more today against the Modesto Nuts and now has a 30-game hitting streak. The Blaze won the game, 12-0. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being."
