High Desert Loses McQuire, Out 14 Months Wednesday, July 29th , 2026 The High Desert Mavericks have lost the services of Jim McQuire for the rest of this season. He suffered a torn labrum in a recent ballgame and the follow-up report from the medical staff is not good. McQuire is out for the year. So far this year, McQuire has made 22 relief appearances with 3 saves, thrown 33.1 innings and struck out 44 with a 1-3 record. |
