League Gives Revels Suspension Sunday, August 2nd , 2026 Hassle an umpire and you will have to pay the consequences. Just ask Lake Elsinore shortstop Zander Revels. He argued to excess over a third strike yesterday in the Lake Elsinore-Rancho Cucamonga game at LoanMart Field. Today the league office notified Revels that he had been given a 3-game suspension for his egregious conduct. Luckily the Storm manager and the bench coach intervened physically and removed him from the field. Otherwise it might have gotten even worse. This season, Revels has banged out 78 hits in 342 at-bats for a .228 average with 7 home runs. He is getting on base at a .285 pace and his totals also include 31 RBIs and 27 runs scored. |
