CAL Names Top Player of the Week Monday, August 3rd , 2026 The Player of the Week has been announced by the California League. The award went to Jim Campbell, catcher of the Stockton Ports. He dominated league pitchers with a .611 average to win the honor. Campbell went 11-for-18 for the week, totaled 3 home runs with 9 RBIs and scored 7 times.
