Inland Empire Shortstop Nets CAL Award Monday, August 10th , 2026 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Inland Empire's Dave Burnett put up last week were the envy of the league, as Burnett came away with California League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 1 home run and 5 RBIs last week as he posted his .478 batting average. Thus far this year, Burnett is batting .322 with 6 home runs, 32 RBIs and 38 runs scored. |
