Salem to Lose Laidler for 11 Months Tuesday, August 12th , 2025 Team officials for the Salem Red Sox confirmed that a damaged elbow ligament will force Jake Laidler to miss the rest of the season. Laidler sustained the injury on 08/09/2025. It remains to be seen who will replace Laidler on the active roster. This year, Laidler has fashioned a 5-7 mark, 5.04 ERA and pitched 114.1 innings.
