Winston-Salem Wins Round 1 Sunday, September 14th , 2025 The Winston-Salem Dash made it look easy and are heading to the Round 2. They have ousted the Carolina Mudcats in a sweep, the final win coming by a 11-6 score, clinching the 3-0 series win. "Everything's clicking for us right now," said Fernando Durant, who was named MVP for the series. Durant hit .333 with a .429 on-base percentage. He added 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Winston-Salem Dash don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Wilmington Blue Rocks - Frederick Keys series. Frederick leads the series 2 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
