Salem-Myrtle Beach Fight Results in Suspensions Sunday, April 19th , 2026 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Salem-Myrtle Beach contest at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium. The Red Sox Johnathan Simpson and the Pelicans Jerry Jennings will have to sit out 2 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Thus far this season in 10 games, Simpson is batting .368 with no home runs, 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has 14 hits in 38 at-bats. |
