Season Ends for Markakis Wednesday, May 27th , 2026 Jeff Markakis had to wait several agonizing days to find out his diagnosis after suffering a torn labrum on 05/25/2026. Today he received word from the Myrtle Beach doctor that he would be out the rest of the year. Team officials called it a huge setback but something they would have to overcome. Thus far this season, Markakis is hitting .298 with 5 home runs, 28 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 45 hits in 151 at-bats and has played in 41 games. |
