Carter Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Friday, June 12th , 2026 A big day at bat for Len Carter of the Lynchburg Hillcats still ended with a loss. The Lynchburg left fielder did all he could do, going 5-for-5, but it was not enough to overcome the Wilmington Blue Rocks. They triumphed over Lynchburg, 5-4, at Ed Smith Stadium. Len Carter hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
