Lynchburg-Carolina Fight Results in Suspensions Wednesday, July 29th , 2026 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Lynchburg-Carolina contest at Ed Smith Stadium. The Hillcats Rhett Osborn and the Mudcats Johnny Wilson will have to sit out 4 and 2 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Osborn is currently hitting at a .254 pace with 4 home runs, 37 RBIs and has scored 36 times. Wilson's record so far this season is 3-and-1 with 1 save and a 5.00 ERA. He has given up 75 hits in 63 innings with 40 strikeouts. |
