CAR Awards Best Batter Prize to Herrera Monday, August 24th , 2026 António Herrera of the Lynchburg Hillcats had an enormous week at the plate and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Carolina League. For the week Herrera batted .476 (10-for-21) with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. Thus far this year, Herrera is batting .417 with 4 home runs, 28 RBIs and 23 runs scored. |
