Thomas Week's Top Player Monday, August 31st , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for Eric Thomas of the Salem Red Sox. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .529, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Carolina League. Last week Thomas went 9-for-17, racked up no home runs and 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Salem shortstop. Thomas is currently hitting .265 with 7 home runsand 45 RBIs, while scoring 70 runs. |
