Kirby MID Winner, Top Hurler in April Friday, May 1st , 2026 In April when the Clinton manager wrote the name "Kirby" on the lineup card, he knew he had a good shot at winning. Start after start in the month, Mike Kirby took the hill, took charge and usually got the win. He dominated with a 4-0 mark and 1.41 ERA in 4 starts. The gifted LumberKings star pitched 32 innings, fanned 36 and held opposing teams to a .170 average. For his outstanding mound performance Kirby was named the MID Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. |
