Muñóz Batters Wisconsin for 5 Hits Friday, May 1st , 2026 It was a sensational day at the plate for Norberto Muñóz as he led the charge to a nifty 6-2 win over the Timber Rattlers. The Kane County left fielder was pure misery for the Wisconsin pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Muñóz put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Matt Walbeck, manager for the Timber Rattlers, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Norberto Muñóz doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Phil Castillo in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.
