Yates MID Outstanding Batter of the Month Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 Pete Yates has a lot going for him. The West Michigan center fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the Midwest League has just picked him as its top hitter for June. In 22 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .345 with 6 home runs, 29 RBIs and 22 runs scored. So far this year, Yates is batting .330 with 8 home runs, 45 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
