Red-Hot Davis Scorches Timber Rattlers Saturday, July 4th , 2026 It was a parade of hits for Mike Davis of the Burlington Bees at Community Field. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Davis finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Bees to a win, 7-0. "Davis was really good and we were really bad," groaned Timber Rattlers manager Matt Walbeck. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Mike Davis singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. This year, Davis is batting .316 with 3 home runs.
