Williams Named MID Batter of the Month Saturday, August 1st , 2026 At only 24 years of age, Ernie Williams could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Quad Cities River Bandits, as July was one to remember for the left fielder and he has captured the Midwest League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .438 with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 15 runs scored. For the season, Williams is hitting .321, batted in 37 runs with 6 home runs and 50 runs scored. |
