Chiefs Guistiniani Named MID's #1 Player Monday, August 3rd , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Gil Guistiniani was in a class by himself in the Midwest League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding right fielder for Peoria tagged opposing pitchers for a .478 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 homers, 6 runs scored and 14 RBIs. So far this season, Guistiniani is batting .262 with 6 home runs. |
