Midwest League Selects Best Performer Monday, August 10th , 2026 Jeff Hamilton is respected by most Great Lakes Loons fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Midwest League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .600 average (12-for-20) with 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this season, Hamilton has put up a .354 batting average with 111 hits, 7 home runs and 49 RBIs. |
