MID's Star Player Named Monday, August 17th , 2026 This week Steve Smith, right fielder for the Dayton Dragons, hit everything in sight to win the Midwest League Player of the Week trophy. He rattled fences and pitchers as he banged out a .524 average and .565 on-base percentage. Smith logged 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs, 2 walks and scored 3 times. In the 2026 season Smith is hitting .281 with 12 home runs. |
