Midwest League's Best Batter Announced Monday, August 24th , 2026 It was a fantastic week for South Bend catcher Bob Lambert and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Midwest League Player of the Week Award. Last week Lambert hammered the ball at a torrid .688 pace, going 11-for-16 with 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Lambert is currently batting .258 with 5 home runs and 40 RBIs. |
