Bush Fashions Shutout Against Kansas City (AZL) Tuesday, August 5th , 2025 The Kansas City (AZL) Royals manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Seattle (AZL) Mariners. The Royals were overpowered by Seattle (AZL) starter Ken Bush, who hurled his club to victory, 4-0. "It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Craig Stammen said. Over 9 innings, Bush blanked Kansas City (AZL) on 4 hits with no walks and 10 strikeouts. "I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Bush said.
