1B Pacheco Given 2-Game Suspension Thursday, July 30th , 2026 ACL Padres first baseman Jesús Pacheco was suspended 2 games by the league commissioner today, a day after arguing his ejection during a game against the ACL Giants. "I think the 2 games are a little harsh," Pacheco said. He was ejected by plate umpire for arguing balls and strikes. After his ejection, Pacheco went into the dugout, then came back on the field, argued with the umpire and had to be restrained by coaches and teammates. The suspension was issued for "unbecoming conduct and returning to the field of play after being dismissed." |
