O'Mahony Strokes 3 HR Against ACL Thursday, August 13th , 2026 Monty O'Mahony added his name in the record books after an explosive home run spree against the ACL Cubs. But despite joining the select list of sluggers to hit three home runs in a game, it didn't guarantee a victory. The ACL Dodgers fell to the Cubs, 6-5. In his big day at Cubs Park, the ACL second baseman went 4-for-4 with 5 RBIs and scored 3 times. "It was just one of those days," he told BNN sportswriters in the postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball. "You would think three homers would win most games. It was good to hit 'em, but a win would have really made my day." Monty O'Mahony hit a solo-shot off Jeff Atkins in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jeff Atkins in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Bret Jackson in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
