Brooks on Fire, 5-for-6 Against ACL Monday, August 17th , 2026 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Danny Brooks of the ACL Rangers had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate in his team's 24-5 win over the ACL Padres at Peoria Sports Complex. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 19-year-old third baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Danny Brooks singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, singled in the 8th, grounded out in the 9th and was hit by a pitch in the 9th.
