Wright Selected GCL Player of the Week Monday, August 18th , 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, Brad Wright was in a class by himself in the Gulf Coast Rookie League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding center fielder for Atlanta (GCL) tagged opposing pitchers for a .714 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 15 hits in 21 at-bats, 0 homers, 3 runs scored and 6 RBIs. So far this season, Wright is hitting .461 with 7 home runs, 35 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has 82 hits in 178 at-bats and a .515 OBP. |
