MacCaw Hit Streak Soars to 33 Games Thursday, August 21st , 2025 Dave MacCaw, second baseman for the Minnesota (GCL) Twins, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 33 games with 3 hits in his club's 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay (GCL) Rays at Hammond Stadium. "Not the outcome we wanted," Tampa Bay (GCL) manager Brandon Macias said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Dave MacCaw singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far this year, MacCaw is batting .416 with 6 home runs, 37 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
