League Gives García and Cooke 4-Game Suspensions Saturday, August 29th , 2026 The league commissioner has issued 4-game suspensions to Héctor García of FCL and Elvis Cooke of FCL. The two players were involved in a confrontation during a recent Red Sox-Twins game at JetBlue Park and now will miss time because of it. Neither player would comment on the suspensions. A look at his current stats shows García with a .343 average, 3 home runs, 21 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has played in 27 games. Cooke has taken the mound for 6 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 1-0 record with a 4.72 ERA. The FCL reliever has limited opposing batters to a .333 batting average. |
