Hits Galore: Curry Drills 5 Hits Saturday, July 26th , 2025 Jeremy Curry was unstoppable, but the Philadelphia (VSL) Phillies were not. Despite his hitting heroics at VSL Phillies Complex, the Phillies lost, 16-13, to the Detroit (VSL) Tigers. Curry battered Detroit (VSL) for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His only consolation will be a boost in his batting average and a brief mention in the record book. Curry just shook his head after the game, telling BNN reporters, "It's the team with the most runs that wins, not the most hits." Jeremy Curry singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
