Greenville got a terrific performance from pitcher Robby Graves, but it wasn't enough to beat the Augusta GreenJackets. Augusta won the Fluor Field at the West End contest, 3-2. Graves threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Adrián Aguilar notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. Greenville falls to 2-1.

Augusta used the timely hitting of Sergio Durán to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put the GreenJackets on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Durán.
