The Greenville Drive defeated the Augusta GreenJackets, 7-1, in South Atlantic League action at Fluor Field at the West End. Greenville pitcher Sean Shibutani had a standout performance. Greenville reliever Sean Shibutani got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Oscar Floyd was tagged with the loss. The loss puts Augusta at 1-3.

The Drive got a big at-bat from right fielder Edgard Flores. For the game, Flores was 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Greenville a 2-0 lead.

"I thought we played a nice game," Shibutani told the Greenville Citizen. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
