The Lakewood BlueClaws beat the Hagerstown Suns by a score of 6-3. Lakewood first baseman José García deserved the lion's share of the credit. García went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the BlueClaws. The winner was Ed McClarnon, who threw 106 pitches over 7.1 innings.
