Greensboro took on Augusta in front of a lively crowd.
Greensboro pitcher Dante López did his part in helping his team beat the Augusta GreenJackets, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. With the win, Greensboro improves its record to 6-3.
Greensboro used a clutch at-bat from Joe Collins to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Grasshoppers ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"I thought Dante threw the ball well across the board," said Greensboro manager J.A. Happ.
