The Lakewood BlueClaws could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Bob Williams into a win. Instead, the Hickory Crawdads prevailed, 4-2. Williams threw 6.0 innings allowing 4 runs. The BlueClaws fall to 5-7 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2026 season.
