The Hagerstown Suns got a superb performance from pitcher Jim Wallace. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Kannapolis. The Intimidators won the game, 2-1. Wallace threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball. The win belonged to Erik Jerningham in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jim Wallace took the loss for Hagerstown. Hagerstown is 4-10 after the loss.
