The Delmarva Shorebirds and Greenville Drive put on a pitchers' duel.

The Delmarva Shorebirds dealt the Greenville Drive a 2-1 loss at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. Jimmy Koch was the star on offense. He went 1 for 3 with a home run. Delmarva reliever Jesús De Jesús was credited with the win. His record goes to 2-0. Sergio Vázquez took the loss for Greenville.

Manny Zarate delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth to win it for the Shorebirds. For the game, Zarate drove in one run.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Koch said.

The Drive fall to 6-8 and continue their sub-.500 start to the 2026 season.
