Hagerstown Keeps Spiraling Downward
Lakewood right fielder Tony Joseph helped his team beat the Hagerstown Suns, 6-3. Joseph, who is tied for 10th in the SAL with a .353 batting average, went 2 for 3 for the BlueClaws. The win puts Lakewood at 8-8.

With Lakewood leading 3-2 in the top of the fifth, Joseph hit a 2-run single off Hagerstown hurler Jimmy Short. It was the 18th hit of the season for Joseph and put his team ahead, 5-2.

"We've got to get out of this funk," said Hagerstown manager Lonnie Chisenhall.
