Antonio Clubs 2 Home Runs in 7-5 West Virginia Win
Due in large part to first baseman Bernardo Antonio, the West Virginia Power sunk the Kannapolis Intimidators, 7-5. Antonio hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Artie Jones picked up the win in relief for West Virginia, while Steve Murdoch took the loss. The defeat makes Kannapolis 12-9.

Antonio had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 curveball from Steve Murdoch, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Power a 7-5 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Antonio.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Antonio told the West Virginia Chronicle.
