GreenJackets Need Extra Innings to Top Sand Gnats, 3-2
The Augusta GreenJackets did just enough to nip the Savannah Sand Gnats, 3-2, in 14 innings. Augusta pitcher Joe Barker, in particular, had a standout performance. The loss lowers the Savannah record to 12-10.

Jeff Miller delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 14th to win it for the GreenJackets. For the game, Miller was 2-5 with 2 singles and a walk.

"I'm happy we won," said Barker. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
