Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Intimidators beat the Legends.

The Kannapolis Intimidators beat the Lexington Legends, 8-2, at CMC-NorthEast Stadium. Héctor Paredes, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Garry Disney got the win, improving to 2-0. He worked 5 innings, giving up no runs on 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2.

With Kannapolis leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Paredes hit a fastball from Jonathan Pipard for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Intimidators ahead, 4-0.

"Nice to keep stacking the wins," said Paredes.

Kannapolis goes to 16-8.
