Grayson Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Savannah Sand Gnats and Greenville Drive.

In a low-scoring contest between the Greenville Drive and the Savannah Sand Gnats, Lonnie Williams, who is tied for 9th in the SAL in quality starts with 4, proved to be the difference. The Greenville left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-1 Drive win. With the loss, Savannah falls to 16-11.

Jeff Carney, who is tied for 6th in the SAL in extra base hits with 10, had a direct impact on the outcome. Carney contributed a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put Greenville up, 1-0.

"Lonnie set the tone," said Jason Wood, the Drive manager.
