Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Asheville Tourists and West Virginia Power.

Asheville Tourists starter Jesús Luna hurled his team past the West Virginia Power, 4-2. Picking up his 7th save was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Pete Mason.

The Tourists had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 4-2, Asheville, with one out. West Virginia, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. José Jiménez dug in at the plate, but on a 1-2 curveball, he struck out.

The Tourists are off to a tough start, getting just their 11th win in 28 games.
