Badar Kuchelai helped his team muscle past the Asheville Tourists, 7-4. In the game, the Charleston designated hitter was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The loss drops Asheville to 13-15.

With Charleston leading 3-2 in the bottom of the second, Kuchelai hit a fastball from Mike Piper for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the RiverDogs ahead, 6-2.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Kuchelai.
