Getting offensive support from Sean Owens, the Augusta GreenJackets topped the Greenville Drive, 3-0. Owens went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles for the GreenJackets. Pat Parks earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits in 2.1 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. The GreenJackets now have a record of 10-19 with the win over Greenville.

The GreenJackets benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the fourth. With Jesús Herrera at bat and Augusta leading 1-0, the Greenville miscue allowed Augusta to plate 2 and take the lead, 3-0.

"Makes our job easier," said Owens, "when our pitchers shut the opposition down."
